The Simple Hydraulic Calculator (TSHC for short) will hydraulically calculate your sprinkler systems using the Hazen-Williams friction loss formula in accordance with NFPA 13.

TSHC can handle grids, trees, loops, and virtually any custom system you create - even multiple water sources! Plus, TSHC is not artificially limited - over 32,000 nodes and 32,000 pipe may be used in a system!

With TSHC you enter your sprinkler system data using TSHC's fully featured modern syntax highlighting editor. Errors are highlighted in real time. Command formats are shown at the bottom of the window. "Proposals" anticipate the next command or parameter and type it for you. Comments can be included on every line. Plus, the "popup helper" eliminates the need to memorize fitting codes or pipe material codes!

TSHC even includes a "system wizard" for quickly creating gridded and tree systems. Just fill in the values for your sprinkler system. When finished, the "wizard" types all the commands needed right into the TSHC editor! And while the "wizard" is great for quickly entering a one or two main system, powerful "grid" commands allow you to manually enter even more! TSHC does not have confining limitations on how complex your system may be.

But entering your sprinkler system is only half the job. Evaluating the design is just as important. That's why TSHC includes a complete calculation results window with all relevent system, pipe, and node data. The data can even by sorted by specific values. Just click on the column headings! This window may be open at the same time as the TSHC Editor window so you can make changes easily while referencing the last calculation results!

When your design is done, TSHC can create the hydraulic calculation reports that your AHJ expects: Comprehensive summary page, full pipe and node information, source and device graphs, flow diagrams, and the hydraulic graph. Reports can even be formatted for letter portrait, letter landscape, and A4 landscape paper sizes!
